Welcome to Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Jelli and I arrived in Phnom Penh, Cambodia a few days ago.
Our plan is to see the city for a few days...
then a visit to the oldest Cambodian Temples at Sambor Prei Kuk....
then off to Siem Reap to see many old temples including Angkor Wat
I brought my GoPro Hero 2 camera.
Here you can see the camera mounted on the Cambodian Tuk Tuk for the ride from the Phnom Penh Airport to the hotel in the city center.

The Silver Pagoda's proper name is Wat Preah Keo Morokat,
which means 'The Temple Of The Emerald Buddha'.
This is the pagoda where King Norodom Sihamoni meets with monks and listens to their sermons
and some Royal Ceremonies are performed.
The Temple houses a large collection of priceless Buddihist Objects including the Emerald Buddha.
A very peaceful location in the middle of a very busy city.
The property contains a vast collection of Buddha inspired artwork.

The Stupa contains the ashes of the former Cambodian Kings.
Throne Hall was built in 1917 and is used for diplomatic events.
Many kinds of interesting street food can be found here.
Phnom Penh is a nice place for a few days visit.
Nice people and interesting culture.
Keep checking back as I update our travels of Cambodia!
