| I just got home from a long weekend surfing La Union. I took the overnite bus from Manila and arrived at dawn ready for a surf. |

| There are waves here for every type of surfer.... from beginners on the inside to Monaliza reef out in deeper water. The surf season is best from November through February. |

| An international destination I met surfers from Korea, Japan, Australia and Europe. Even with all the competition the local Pinoys were the best surfers. |

| Just down the road in the town of San Fernando is the Ma Cho Temple. |

| Whenever I am in town I always go visit this place. The peaceful beauty is a nice escape from hectic San Fernando. |
